Made from 100% pure Organic Cotton Flannel, this mattress protector uses a brushed organic fabric that naturally reduces dust mite penetration without any internal fill where they might breed. It has elasticised edges for easy removal and a snug fit, helping extend the life of your organic mattress.

It’s also ideal as a stand-alone layer between you and an older mattress that may cause reactions, or it can be used like a fitted sheet. As uncoated organic flannel, it is water resistant but not waterproof.

Care:
Not chemically pre-shrunk – the protector will shrink slightly with the first wash. Wash at max 30 °C to protect fibres; avoid fabric softeners to maintain organic integrity. Line dry out of strong sun or tumble dry low; steam iron if needed.

Notes:

• We do not recommend waterproof protectors that use non-organic plastics or chemicals; instead, for extra water resistance, use a mattress protector pad or overlay with this flannel protector.
• Avoid using plastic covers on mattresses — they can trap condensation and promote mould.

Fabric Details:
This brushed flannel uses only long organic cotton fibres, so it won’t irritate sensitive skin like standard flannelette. It’s heavier, warmer and dust-mite resistant, made from 285 gsm, unbleached and undyed natural cotton, suitable for allergy or chemical-sensitivity sufferers.
